Product Description: Allen-Bradley 1734-AENT

The Allen-Bradley 1734-AENT is a single-port EtherNet/IP adapter that enables POINT I/O modules to communicate over an EtherNet/IP network. It acts as the network interface between a POINT I/O assembly and a Logix-based controller, supporting real-time I/O data exchange and configuration. Designed for applications not requiring Device Level Ring (DLR), it offers a compact and cost-effective solution for standard Ethernet topologies.

Key Features

  • Single 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port (RJ-45)
  • Supports EtherNet/IP protocol for control and data exchange
  • Connects up to 63 POINT I/O modules per adapter
  • Status indicators for power, module health, and network activity
  • Configurable via BOOTP/DHCP or static IP assignment
  • Supports web-based diagnostics for remote access
  • DIN rail mountable and hot- swappable
